About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Financial accounting & reporting
Review, recording and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices (CRM & DATEV)
Management and posting of bank transactions
Handling of payment transactions and monitoring of the dunning/collections process
Accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting
Active participation in monthly and annual closings
Further development of automations in accounting processes
Point of contact for internal departments and external partners on accounting-related questions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
At least 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling or data analysis
Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas)
Basic understanding of database queries (SQL is an advantage)
Business-fluent German (minimum B2) and good English skills
Nice-to-have: experience with DATEV and/or a CRM system (e.g., MS Dynamics 365)
Support for controlling, especially liquidity planning and budget forecasting
Participation in preparing the annual financial plan
Experience with data modeling tools, ideally Microsoft Power BI
