About the role
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
- Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services
- Provide injections if needed
- APP collaboration
- Schedule: expected weekly hours: 6 hours (4 in-center and 2 remote admin) in Myrtle Beach; additional hours available for Charleston (4 in-center and 2 remote admin)
Requirements
- Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the state(s) in which patient care will be provided
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice
- Ability to evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder
- Ability to prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
- Ability to provide injections if needed
- Availability for expected weekly hours (6 hours in Myrtle Beach; additional hours if able to travel to Charleston)
