Pre-Approval Manager
CrossCountry Mortgage, LLCPre Approval Manager overseeing loan processes for mortgage borrowers at CrossCountry Mortgage. Communicating with clients and managing a diverse loan pipeline to ensure suitable financial solutions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Bryan, OH office of CrossCountry Mortgage
- Serve as a liaison between the organization’s internal and external clients
- Oversee and directly involve in the loan process from start to finish
- Aid CrossCountry Mortgage borrowers to the best financial program
- Provide customer service by communicating with borrowers regarding loan programs, costs, and applicable loan documents
- Review and audit income, assets, run DU and verify credit documentation within mortgage file
- Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver to borrower
- Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of various loan products
- Ensure the loan structure presents the best program based on the borrower’s financial circumstances
- Review the file for any missing documentation that best supports approval
- Communicate loan program and costs with borrowers
- Pre-underwrite items to help support approval of the loan
- Input feed for disclosures, present and set up loan to best fit borrower’s needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- NMLS License under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 (“SAFE Act”), a plus
- State License under the terms of the SAFE Act, a plus
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 3-5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience
- Experience with Encompass LOS, preferred
- Prior underwriting experience, a plus
- Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations
- Excellent math and analytics skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows
