Branch Operations Manager
CrossCountry Mortgage, LLCBranch Operations Manager overseeing loan processes, serving as a liaison for CrossCountry Mortgage. Responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage process and ensuring documentation compliance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a liaison between the organization’s internal and external clients
- Oversee and be directly involved in the loan process from start to finish
- Assist Loan Officers and Loan Processors in finding answers regarding loan eligibility
- Review and analyze complex income documentation
- Assist with training sales or processing staff
- Provide customer service by communicating with borrowers to assist them
- Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers
- Ensure structure of the loan presents the best program based on borrower’s financial circumstances
- Review the file for any missing documentation that best supports approval
- Communicate loan program and costs with borrowers
- Pre-underwrite items to help support approval of the loan
- Input feed for disclosures, present and set up loan to best fit borrower’s needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 3-5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience
- Experience with Encompass LOS, preferred
- Prior underwriting experience, a plus
- Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations
- Excellent math and analytics skills
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows
