About the role
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Post Purchase Forensic Underwriting Team
- Serve as the second level escalation point for the Forensic Post Purchase Underwriting Team
- Monitor investor posted turn times
- Support onboarding and ongoing training programs for new hires and existing employees
- Act as the department’s subject matter expert
- Drive departmental projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of underwriting experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Team Lead or other leadership role
- Experience with identifying and interpreting transaction components that may signal potentially fraudulent activity
- Knowledge of underwriting guidelines along with exposure to investor conditions and exceptions
- Knowledge of regulatory rules and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
