About the role
- Provide quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation to underwrite the loan
- Communicate with the customer and/or Loan Officer
- Review and analyze borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets
- Assemble the complete loan package for underwriting
- Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file
- Prepare a loan approval summary and ensure the accuracy of all information printed on documents
- Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations
- Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information
- Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times
- Document all communication related to the loan application
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience
- Experience with Encompass
- Working knowledge of RESPA regulations
- General knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations
- Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
