About the role
- Serve as a trusted partner and subject matter expert to clients, cultivating relationships and advising on technology strategy
- Conduct client interviews to evaluate current-state pain points, document future-state business needs, and perform market research
- Develop and execute implementation plans, identify and resolve issues, risks, and project team conflicts
- Oversee project administration including project setup, planning, budgeting, account management, and billing
- Oversee teams and individuals, monitor performance, and address issues, risks, and conflicts
- Provide senior account and project-level leadership to ensure delivery quality, exceed client expectations, and create expansion opportunities
- Deliver high-quality consulting services and take ownership of client engagements and deliverables
- Drive strategic practice direction by monitoring industry trends and creating new services and solutions
- Participate in talent acquisition and retention and lead business development and marketing of services to prospective clients
Requirements
- 15+ years of business application strategy, selection, or implementation experience
- Understanding of financial, operational, HR and payroll functions and applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, ADP, UKG, Sage Intacct, Coupa, NetSuite, Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, Planful, Adaptive)
- Prior experience in professional services (IT consulting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
- Strong track record of effectively communicating intricate concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical discipline
- Willingness to travel based on client preferences
