About the role
- Own QA strategy and execution for your squad - both manual and automated testing
- Design comprehensive test plans and maintain detailed, reproducible test cases
- Develop and expand automated test suites for APIs, web apps, and backend systems
- Work closely with Developers, Product, and DevOps to shift-left and integrate testing early
- Track, triage, and follow through on bugs with clarity and urgency
- Help build a culture of quality through documentation, metrics, and knowledge sharing
- Be embedded in a fast-paced product team ensuring reliability, accuracy, and performance of COS
- Mentor junior engineers and take ownership of quality from day one
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Hebrew - written and verbal
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in complex software environments
- Proven experience writing automated tests in tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, CI/CD, and SDLC best practices
- Experience testing APIs (Postman, REST, GraphQL) and backend systems
- Familiarity with modern QA frameworks and version control systems (Git)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams
