About the role

Lead a high-impact engineering team building core products at scale
Serve as technical leader, team builder, and strategic partner
Guide team to deliver performant, scalable, and secure software solutions
Influence technical design, org design, and product direction
Work closely with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready code
Define and influence strategy; drive roadmap creation and execution

Mentor, coach, and grow direct reports; champion career development and engagement
Own recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for your team
Influence engineering-wide culture, org design, and cross-functional collaboration
Be both a highly technical contributor and an effective people leader; hold your own in technical discussions

3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including API design and distributed systems
Proven track record building and scaling high-volume, web-based solutions
Strong experience with cloud-native infrastructure, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
Skilled at building consensus across departments and aligning engineering with business goals
Experience managing full project lifecycles and technical teams, including performance management
Excellent communication in English (written and verbal)
Collaborative leader who thrives on enabling others to succeed
Able to balance trust and autonomy with clear technical direction
Strategic, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed
