About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Recruit viable nurses for travel assignments through prospecting, referrals, and leads
Sell travel assignments using a consultative sales approach
Recruit, screen, interview, and evaluate healthcare professionals according to client needs
Cultivate and expand a network and candidate pool of healthcare professionals
Negotiate compensation packages while maintaining acceptable margins
Develop recruiting strategies using email campaigns, social media, and other tools
Conduct competitive market research
Meet performance expectations for outbound calls, candidate submittals, and weeks booked
Build relationships and provide customer service to healthcare professionals
Attend trade shows, conventions, career fairs, workshops, and sponsored events as needed
Complete weekly recruitment reports and special recruiting projects
Maintain productivity metrics, candidate database files, and required documents
Ensure traveler satisfaction through assignment planning and follow-through
Maintain relationships with clients, co-workers, and active nurse staff
Address nurse needs and issues through communication and follow-up
Maintain flexible schedules to service staff requests and handle issues
Perform other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3–4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship management, preferably in staffing
Strong sense of urgency
Effective phone presentation skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Negotiation and sales skills
Ability to collaborate across all aspects of the selling cycle
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions
