About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee, scale, and refine paid campaigns on Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Shopify Ads, and Content Syndication networks.
- Guide qualified B2B prospects to our Shopify App Store listings, turning casual interest into active installs and long-term client value.
- Design well-documented, repeatable workflows with clear metrics and transferrable playbooks.
- Use an evidence-backed approach—hypothesizing, testing, analyzing, and continually optimizing campaign efficiency.
- Set up precise measurement frameworks and visual tracking dashboards utilizing GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, or equivalent tools.
- Coordinate with Product and Success teams to support new feature rollouts, upsells, and cross-promotions.
- Lay the structural groundwork to recruit, train, and manage a dedicated marketing team within 12 to 24 months.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in performance marketing (ideally 4–7 years) managing multi-channel paid acquisition within e-commerce, B2B SaaS, or the Shopify ecosystem.
- Direct expertise running B2B lead generation via Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads focused on qualified sales leads.
- Mastery of growth metrics (CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion percentages, traffic volume) with an emphasis on data-backed choices.
- Ability to establish scalable frameworks rather than simply executing ad-hoc tasks.
- Experience using CRMs and automation suites (e.g., HubSpot) along with tracking tools (GA4, GTM, Looker Studio).
- Fluent or C2-level mastery of German to engage the DACH target audience effectively.
- High autonomy, self-discipline, and strong accountability working asynchronously.
- Ability to attend two in-person team offsites each year (2–3 days per event).

- Competitive Compensation Structure (German Benchmark): Base Pay: €68,000 gross p.a. Variable Incentive: €12,000 target p.a. Target Earnings (OTE): €80,000 p.a. Note on EU Locations: Compensation for non-German EU residents will be adjusted to local market standards via our Employer of Record (EOR) partner.
