Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee day-to-day general accounting activities and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closing operations in compliance with German GAAP (HGB)
Prepare and submit accurate financial packages under IFRS to support global corporate reporting
Serve as a technical supervisor and mentor for two operational accountants handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Direct intercompany account reconciliations and manage asset accounting
Actively participate as a key accounting stakeholder in the deployment and refinement of an ERP platform
Function as a main point of contact during internal and external financial audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

High proficiency in German (C1) for local accounting
High proficiency in English (C1) for cross-border communications
Significant hands-on experience in corporate accounting
Comprehensive command of local closing procedures (HGB)
University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting OR a vocational commercial training background supplemented by a recognized Bilanzbuchhalter certification
Solution-oriented approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a pragmatic hands-on attitude
