About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage plant-level accounting independently
Oversee monthly and annual financial closures under German GAAP (HGB)
Support group reporting packages and handle cross-border financial tasks under IFRS
Provide functional leadership to two operational accountants
Lead intercompany reconciliations and manage fixed asset accounting
Take an active role in the rollout and optimization of our ERP system (Infor LN)
Serve as key contact for external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fluent German (C1)
Strong English (C1)
Multiple years of hands-on experience in financial accounting
Solid expertise in preparing HGB financial statements
Experience with IFRS reporting in group structures
Degree in Business Administration or Finance, focus on Accounting
Commercial qualification with certified balance sheet accountant diploma (Bilanzbuchhalter m/w/d)
