Key responsibilities & impact

Partner directly with customer engineering and research teams
Understand complex photonic, semiconductor, and hardware design workflows
Design and deploy AI-powered workflows using LLMs, simulations, and scientific models
Build prototypes demonstrating AI-assisted modeling, optimization, and automation
Orchestrate workflows combining AI systems, simulation environments, and customer data
Translate field insights into product feedback and roadmap recommendations
Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout pilots and production deployments
Help shape the evolution of next-generation AI platforms for engineering applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Photonics, or a related field
4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Applied AI, Solutions Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering
Strong Python programming skills
Experience with scientific computing and workflow orchestration
Hands-on experience with LLMs, APIs, agentic systems, and modern AI tooling
Experience working directly with customers or technical stakeholders
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to bridge scientific concepts and software implementation.
