About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will be responsible for building and closing trading transactions in an international environment, from identifying new opportunities to deal closing.
- Building and developing customer and supplier relationships
- Managing and closing trading transactions (buying & selling)
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the international market
- Negotiating prices, contracts and commercial terms
- Preparing offer calculations and participating in tenders
- Analyzing market, price and trading developments
- Close cooperation with logistics and operations
- Travel for business development and client relationship management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in trading, procurement or sales within the commodities, recycling, or industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of pricing, metal prices and offer/pricing calculations
- Experience in an international environment and with supply chains
- Excellent English skills and good German skills
- Confident use of Excel and experience with data-driven work
