About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design the brand in-hand: Lead design across packaging and product storytelling, creating thoughtful, scalable systems that elevate the Crocs experience at shelf and beyond.
  • Build design systems: Develop and evolve brand design frameworks across packaging, retail, and supporting touchpoints, ensuring consistency, flexibility, and global relevance.
  • Translate brand into object: Apply brand identity to physical and digital formats with precision, owning typography, layout, color, materials, and finishes.
  • Champion craft: Uphold the highest standards of design execution from concept through production, with strong attention to detail and final output.
  • Partner with product and merchandising: Collaborate closely to align packaging and storytelling with product strategy, assortment, and consumer needs.
  • Own packaging development: Lead projects from initial concept through production, working with vendors to ensure feasibility, quality, and brand integrity.
  • Balance system and expression: Create work that is both consistent and creatively expressive while maintaining brand clarity and evolving the visual language.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work across Creative, Marketing, Product, and Operations to bring cohesive brand experiences to life.
  • Drive efficiency through design: Leverage tools, templates, and emerging technologies including AI to scale design systems without sacrificing quality.
  • Present with clarity: Communicate design rationale and systems thinking effectively to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with a strong focus on brand design, packaging, and visual systems
  • Proven experience designing for physical formats such as packaging, retail, and product storytelling
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and emerging AI tools
  • Exceptional design craft across typography, layout, color, and material sensitivity
  • Strong systems thinker who can build scalable, flexible design frameworks
  • Experience working with production partners and packaging vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through production
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Curious and forward-thinking, with interest in new tools, technologies, and design innovation
