About the role

  • Responsible for leading a small group (typically 6 to 8 locations with total volume of $20-$30M) of store managers across dual brands (Crocs and Hey Dude)
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through both brands consumer service initiatives
  • Maintain visual excellence across the assigned market and dual brands
  • Drive operational compliance in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Establish high standards for management performance and set clear expectations for store managers
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with all company policies and directives
  • Maintain a principled level of business ethics and integrity
  • Meet or exceed area financial projections and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills through compliance with operational directives
  • Use labor management tools to ensure stores are staffed appropriately to increase efficiency, profitability and margins
  • Deliver a high level of operational excellence including store appearance, loss prevention, cash handling, inventory control, visual merchandising, and safety
  • Maintain high leadership standards to achieve successful management development
  • Lead by example and empower sales associates to build an outstanding guest experience
  • Lead and develop guest service skills of each manager to ensure each guest receives friendly service upon each visit to the location
  • Recruitment, Development and Retention of Talent.
  • Supervise store manager function identified in the area and provide specific and timely feedback through coaching and corrective action to improve personal and area performance
  • Assess and develop talent within the team for future growth
  • Staff locations appropriately with friendly and positive sales associates for seasonal hiring
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years of retail management experience in lieu of degree
  • Previous experience in specialty retail, multi-unit management is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Internet Microsoft Office, POS and general digital literacy
  • Flexible work schedule (which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary
  • Travel is required for this role both by car & air
  • Proven track record of being able to work autonomously, while having strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent business and financial competence, including operational analysis
  • Proven ability to exceed sales while meeting payroll goals, demonstrated ability to identify, hire, train, develop and retain top talent Managers as well as teams
  • Ability to reason through complex issues, demonstrates effective communication, ability to present information to large groups
  • Ability to move merchandise with appropriate equipment to and from backroom and sales floor. In addition to standing for extended periods per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the store daily
