About the role
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend developers
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and career development support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, product managers, UX designers, QA specialists, and backend teams
- Implement scalable frontend solutions using React and Next.js
- Champion advanced React patterns and drive adoption of React best practices
- Integrate with Salesforce Commerce Cloud using OCAPI and SCAPI in an API-first approach
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsive design across digital touchpoints
- Establish development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies
- Monitor and optimize delivery to improve cycle time, reduce time-to-market, and minimize regressions
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Expert-level proficiency in React and Next.js
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (OCAPI/SCAPI), particularly headless implementations
- Strong understanding of composable commerce architecture and API-first development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with performance optimization and web vitals preferred
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices preferred
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and team development skills
- Related certifications or coursework preferred
