About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate medical, clinical, and commercial teams to communicate consistent information to healthcare providers, patients, and payers
  • Build and lead the medical affairs organization
  • Oversee medical training and compliance to support Cristcot’s products
  • Foster strategic partnerships with KOLs, healthcare institutions and practices, payers, and patient advocacy groups
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the medical affairs team
  • Collaborate with clinical, commercial, corporate, and regulatory teams on launch and pipeline strategies
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with KOLs, medical societies, and healthcare institutions to position Cristcot as a leader in IBD
  • Lead participation in congresses and seminars and deliver scientific presentations
  • Oversee medical training and compliance programs for commercial launch readiness
  • Oversee and analyze HEOR activities supporting product value propositions
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and awareness of scientific trends
  • Examine and continually improve the medical affairs Quality Management System and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with national laws, regulations, and Cristcot policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD in a scientific discipline)
  • 10+ years of progressive medical affairs experience in biopharma
  • 10+ years of strategic leadership experience building and scaling medical affairs teams
  • Background in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)
  • Practical leadership experience
  • Experience in startup and established company environments ideally
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, innovation, strategic vision, and business acumen
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to inspire remote teams and foster a collaborative, innovative culture
  • Deep knowledge of global healthcare systems and HEOR activities
