About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Case Management: Oversee end-to-end management of civil litigation cases, ensuring all elements from filing to closure are handled efficiently.

  • Document Service & Filing Coordination: Manage service of documents and filing workflows, ensuring proper execution and compliance with all filing requirements.
  • Attorney Coordination: Ensure attorneys provide timely notes and meet all deadlines, with consistent follow-up after court appearances to maintain case progress.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Civil Litigation Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a civil litigation paralegal, with a strong focus on discovery and document preparation.
  • California Court Knowledge: Preferred experience with California state courts; federal court experience is a plus.
  • Technological Proficiency: Comfortable with AI tools and legal software such as Clio; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Capable of handling complex details with precision, ensuring no deadlines are missed.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Able to collaborate with legal teams while also working independently to manage caseloads efficiently.
