Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Director of Product Marketing is a strategic commercial leader responsible for translating CPI’s product portfolio into market‑winning positioning, revenue growth, and sales effectiveness.
  • Usher in the commercial success of CPI’s product portfolio.
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new products, enhancements, and market expansions.
  • Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap investments into market opportunities and revenue outcomes.
  • Build commercialization plans that maximize adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Define compelling product positioning and differentiated messaging.
  • Create value propositions tailored to buyers, decision‑makers, instructors, and learners.
  • Ensure consistency across marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, customer communications, and thought leadership.
  • Develop market narratives that strengthen CPI’s competitive position.
  • Lead pricing and packaging strategy across CPI’s portfolio.
  • Recommend and implement pricing models that improve growth, profitability, and customer value realization.
  • Build business cases for new monetization opportunities.
  • Equip Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams with the tools they need to win.
  • Develop playbooks, competitive battlecards, objection‑handling materials, product training, and launch assets.
  • Own launch planning and execution across the organization.
  • Measure launch effectiveness and continually improve performance.
  • Serve as the voice of the market.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs.
  • Act as the connective tissue between Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Product Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Go‑to‑Market Strategy, Commercialization, or related roles
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing product marketing teams or leading cross‑functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling B2B products, services, or learning solutions
  • Experience developing and executing commercialization strategies that drive measurable revenue growth
  • Proven experience partnering with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing organizations
  • Experience creating sales enablement programs that improve adoption, win rates, and revenue outcomes
  • Strong understanding of pricing, packaging, positioning, and market segmentation strategies
  • Experience analyzing customer, market, and competitive data to inform strategic decisions.
