About the role
- Cribl is the data engine for IT and Security, processing hundreds of TB and PB of observability data for large organizations
- Help customers strain valuable data from discardable data and shepherd customers across their Cribl journey
- Demonstrate technical leadership and authority in observability and security
- Drive complex deployments of Cribl products and act as the technical thought leader for customer solutions
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales Engineering, Support, and Customer Success teams
- Lead and execute complex customer engagements: architecture, design, development, deployment, operationalization, and documentation
- Create best practice documentation, blog posts, runbooks, workshops, and customer training materials to enhance the learning ecosystem
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, enablement, coaching, and mentoring for team members, customers, and partners
- May require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in technical consulting or big data analytics
- Extensive expertise in deploying and managing AWS/AZURE/GCP Cloud environments
- Exceptional command over Big Data Analytics tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, DataDog, Exabeam, and Azure Sentinel
- Proven track record of working with complex Enterprise applications, including proficiency in deploying and managing Kubernetes, Docker, and other automation technologies
- In-depth knowledge and experience with both Unix and Windows operating systems, proficient in utilizing command line interfaces and GUIs
- Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, with recent experience developing scripts and automation workflows
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including technical personnel and executive-level partners
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and solving complex technical challenges
- BONUS: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment while working independently and remotely
- BONUS: Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics
