About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to the Office of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State
- Ensure effective execution of program requirements and advocacy
- Analyze program and budget proposals and present them to interagency panels
- Prepare justification or recommendation memoranda for review and approval
- Provide follow-up problem-solving assistance and technical consultations
- Liaise and consult on program administration and funding acquisition
- Respond to Congressional requests regarding programs and objectives
- Maintain and develop systems for efficient document retrieval regarding funding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to obtain security clearance
- 12-15 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years with a Master's or 5-7 years with a PhD
- Knowledge of managing international programming and relevant education and training
- Strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200
- Experience working in professional, fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
- Experience leading teams and handling diverse work styles
