About the role

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for assigned Client Accounting Services (CAS) clients
  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable as applicable
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare standard financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure timely and consistent delivery of client reports
  • Serve as a day-to-day accounting contact for assigned clients
  • Respond to client questions regarding transactions and account balances
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members
  • Escalate complex or unusual items to senior team members when appropriate
  • Complete work in accordance with GAAP, firm policies, and internal best practices
  • Maintain organized documentation and support for all accounting activity
  • Contribute to process improvements and accounting workflow enhancements
  • Collaborate with CAS team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working with multiple clients or entities preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop preferred
  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar credential a plus
