About the role
- Manage client accounts and update client records
- Perform detailed bookkeeping tasks and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients
- Assist clients with inquiries related to their accounts and transactions and serve as main point of contact
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with team members to refine procedures
- Report to Senior Client Manager and collaborate within Accounting Services team
- Maintain client confidentiality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Experience in client account management is a plus
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Legally authorized to work in the US (application asks about US work authorization)
