Program Manager – GI/HPM Fellowship
Creighton UniversityProgram Manager overseeing operational and financial management of Gastroenterology and Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Programs. Collaborates with Program Directors ensuring compliance and supports trainee success.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day operations of fellowship training programs and support Program Directors
- Ensure compliance with ACGME, institutional, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate trainee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, evaluations, scheduling, and graduation activities
- Maintain program databases, records, websites, and communications
- Oversee ERAS, NRMP Match processes, credentialing, licensing, contracts, and visa-related documentation
- Organize conferences, meetings, educational events, and recruitment activities
- Monitor budgets, process purchases and payments, and assist with annual financial planning
- Support accreditation reviews, site visits, and program quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a key liaison among trainees, faculty, hospital departments, and external partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of administrative experience in healthcare, medical education, or higher education
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with residency management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of graduate medical education and accreditation processes preferred.
