About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, implement, and manage on-premises and cloud network infrastructure to ensure availability, security, and performance of the IT environment.
Keep environment documentation up to date.
Monitor network traffic and link stability using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, etc.
Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
Configure and maintain switches, routers, APs, load balancers, and firewalls.
Collaborate with the Information Security team to implement security policies.
Analyze logs and security events.
Manage the organization’s edge layer (public IPs, firewalls, WAFs, etc.).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced experience with network infrastructure.
Experience administering LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
Experience administering firewalls.
Experience with environment segmentation (network segregation).
Experience in network design.
Hands-on experience with WAF solutions.
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Experience configuring network equipment (switches, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
Experience administering cloud networks.
Advanced knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.
Knowledge of VPN creation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of load balancers.
Knowledge of connectivity architectures.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of metrics for availability, latency, and network performance.
Incident response capability, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
Knowledge of cloud connectivity (Oracle and Azure are a plus).
English (a plus).
Knowledge of secure authentication for wireless networks.
