About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, implement, and manage on-premises and cloud network infrastructure to ensure availability, security, and performance of the IT environment.
  • Keep environment documentation up to date.
  • Monitor network traffic and link stability using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, etc.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
  • Configure and maintain switches, routers, APs, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to implement security policies.
  • Analyze logs and security events.
  • Manage the organization’s edge layer (public IPs, firewalls, WAFs, etc.).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced experience with network infrastructure.
  • Experience administering LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
  • Experience administering firewalls.
  • Experience with environment segmentation (network segregation).
  • Experience in network design.
  • Hands-on experience with WAF solutions.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Experience configuring network equipment (switches, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
  • Experience administering cloud networks.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.
  • Knowledge of VPN creation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of load balancers.
  • Knowledge of connectivity architectures.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of metrics for availability, latency, and network performance.
  • Incident response capability, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
  • Knowledge of cloud connectivity (Oracle and Azure are a plus).
  • English (a plus).
  • Knowledge of secure authentication for wireless networks.
