About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and implement features for iOS applications from design specifications while collaborating with UI/UX designers
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Identify and fix bugs and optimize application performance, including memory management and battery usage
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Write unit tests and participate in integration testing
- Deploy applications to the App Store while adhering to Apple's guidelines
- Keep current with the latest iOS SDKs, frameworks, and development best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C
- Solid understanding of UIKit, Auto Layout, GCD, and relevant iOS frameworks
- Experience translating design mockups and wireframes into functional UI components
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience with unit testing and debugging
- Understanding of mobile app development, including APIs, third-party libraries, and platform-specific best practices
