About the role

  • Analyze, design and implement integration solutions (e.g., interfaces, APIs, middleware, messaging)
  • Responsible for the operation, monitoring and continuous optimization of existing integrations
  • Ensure compliance with architecture, security and regulatory requirements (e.g., BAIT, DORA), IT governance and data protection standards for all integration solutions
  • Work closely with business units to translate functional requirements into technical integration concepts
  • Coordinate and manage external service providers in the integration domain
  • Support and participate in IT and digitalization projects with an integration focus
  • Document integration architectures, interfaces and processes
  • Analyze and resolve incidents in the integration environment in collaboration with operations and incident management
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of integration standards and strategies

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a comparable IT-related qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Strong expertise in system and application integration
  • Several years of professional experience in the IT environment, particularly in at least one of the following areas: system and application integration and/or IT architecture (solution- or integration-focused) and/or technical IT project or program implementation
  • Experience with complex, distributed system landscapes and integration architectures (e.g., API management, middleware, ESB, event-driven architecture)
  • Basic understanding of IT security, data protection and regulatory requirements
  • Understanding of banking business processes and IT systems
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; ability to present complex technical topics appropriately to different audiences; stakeholder management
  • High degree of personal responsibility and end-to-end thinking
  • Structured and responsible analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong documentation and design/conceptualization skills
  • Business-fluent German and very good written and spoken English
