About the role
- Identify, recruit, and activate influencers, affiliates, and strategic partners already engaged with business credit, finance, and small business audiences.
- Bring existing relationships to the table and drive net-new ones with a clear, targeted outreach strategy.
- Convert interest into revenue through strategic outreach, personalized messaging, and strong follow-through
- Host podcast conversations and virtual meetups to build rapport, share value, and nurture connections
- Identify opportunities to promote our content and tools through aligned audiences and partner channels
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, partnerships) to align on messaging and optimize outreach
- Own the full cycle of partnership development—from outreach to onboarding to driving results
- Develop and execute innovative affiliate campaigns that drive qualified leads and conversions
Requirements
- 5+ years of business development experience focused on affiliate and influencer partnerships, not general sales.
- Pre-existing relationships or networks in the business credit, funding, fintech, or B2B entrepreneurship space.
- Comfortable leading with strategy and taking full ownership of outreach and pipeline management.
- You’re a natural connector who thrives in conversation, reads the room, and knows how to ask for the sale.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You can pitch, follow up, and close across channels (DMs, Zoom, live convos, etc.) — you’ll be representing us on calls, podcasts, and in DMs.
- Self-driven and accountable—you know how to manage your pipeline and move opportunities forward.
- Comfortable with CRMs, social platforms, and virtual tools like Zoom, Slack, and Hubspot.
- Bonus points if you’ve sold online services, SaaS, or educational products to entrepreneurial or small business audiences.
