About the role
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test and implement features and code
- Collaborate and contribute to all activities required to deliver high quality features
- Learn best practices through mentorship
- Grow your skills and confidence through hands-on learning in a team environment
- Design and develop data pipelines and data marts
- Write unit-tests and validate development against acceptance criteria
- Apply team coding, documenting, and testing standards
- Participate in code reviews and communicate application changes
- Document code and projects for ease of understanding, maintenance, and support
- Debug production issues
- Read and write design documents
- Contribute to team's sprint commitments and participate in Agile practices
- Learn the business process domain
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study; or equivalent work experience
- Conceptual understanding of Data Warehouse/Lakehouse
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to develop using SQL and/or Python (preferred)
- Understand basic database design techniques and ability to create simple database queries
