About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Verify all dollars received from retail locations, dining halls, and catering
- Prepare daily deposits
- Notify the FSD and Retail Manager of overages or shortages
- Manage petty cash with petty cash slips and receipts
- Ensure banks and line boxes have correct change
- Post invoices and transfers on spreadsheets with manager signature
- Verify monthly vendor statements
- Email spreadsheets and backup information to the Home Office weekly
- Ensure the safe is locked at all times
- Greet administrative office visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer administrative office telephones and forward calls appropriately
- Perform general administrative tasks including typing, filing, copying, faxing, emailing, record keeping, and errands
- Perform administrative tasks related to new employee hiring procedures, including initial paperwork, screenings, insurance enrollment, and file maintenance
- Work professionally and cooperatively as a member of the dining services team
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Degree or equivalent
- Higher education helpful
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite
- Experience with a 10-key adding machine and other office equipment
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Experience performing administrative responsibilities preferred
