About the role

  • Develop server applications and RESTful APIs to be consumed by client applications.
  • Ensure functionality, security, and performance of server applications; fix bugs and maintain systems.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests; aim for high test coverage and code quality.
  • Collaborate with team members, communicate with clients, and update issue tracking software.
  • Control versions of code, research new technologies, and tune code for security and performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers; evaluate candidates and provide training and guidance.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of related experience in professional industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools and platforms
  • Extensive experience of .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC and Web API
  • Knowledge and experience of Azure and AWS is a must
  • Knowledge and experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances
  • Experience with different relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle/SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Creating database structure for the required functionality
  • Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring the minimum 90% test coverage
  • Knowledge of and experience with Github, JIRA and other collaboration tools
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality
  • Strong presentation skills
