About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, analysis, and development of electrical and electronic systems for defense and aerospace applications
- Develop system architectures including power distribution, signal integrity, controls, and instrumentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical, mechanical, and software components
- Drive the full product lifecycle—from requirements definition and concept development through testing, qualification, and production
- Perform circuit design, analysis, and validation for analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems
- Support system-level troubleshooting, risk reduction, and design optimization efforts
- Ensure compliance with technical, cost, schedule, and regulatory requirements
- Support proposal development and provide technical input for business development activities
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain at least Collateral Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, including system design and integration
- Strong experience with schematic capture, circuit design, and electrical analysis tools
- Knowledge of power electronics, signal processing, control systems, and/or embedded systems
- Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation in lab or flight environments
- Familiarity with relevant standards (MIL-STD, IPC, IEEE, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple technical priorities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
