About the role
- market and generate sales of insurance products through existing agents/brokers and developing relationships with new clients
- maintain an in-depth understanding of the Company’s products and processes
- maintain increasing knowledge of insurance industry markets, products, and legal environments
- conduct regular follow-up and prospective calls to agents/brokers
- process agent’s requests for quotations and proposals
- provide information on carrier administrative procedures and product availability
- pre-screening individuals and groups for medical conditions
- assist agents/brokers in presenting Company products to clients by attending meetings
- resolve escalated issues by solving problems and providing feedback
- participate in team meetings and keep abreast of current trends and regulatory issues
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a related individual and or Medicare insurance sales role (required)
- Associate’s Degree (preferred)
- Life/Health Agent’s License (required)
- In-depth knowledge of individual and senior medical insurance products preferably attained through working in an insurance marketing or selling role at a carrier or broker office
