About the role

  • market and generate sales of insurance products through existing agents/brokers and developing relationships with new clients
  • maintain an in-depth understanding of the Company’s products and processes
  • maintain increasing knowledge of insurance industry markets, products, and legal environments
  • conduct regular follow-up and prospective calls to agents/brokers
  • process agent’s requests for quotations and proposals
  • provide information on carrier administrative procedures and product availability
  • pre-screening individuals and groups for medical conditions
  • assist agents/brokers in presenting Company products to clients by attending meetings
  • resolve escalated issues by solving problems and providing feedback
  • participate in team meetings and keep abreast of current trends and regulatory issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related individual and or Medicare insurance sales role (required)
  • Associate’s Degree (preferred)
  • Life/Health Agent’s License (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of individual and senior medical insurance products preferably attained through working in an insurance marketing or selling role at a carrier or broker office
