About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet or exceed location revenue goals and other KPIs
  • Manage the front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery to ensure throughput, production quality, and efficiency
  • Assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for teardown or paint
  • Support teammates during peak times by receiving customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates
  • Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards
  • Ensure repairs are billed accurately and back-of-shop PPE protocol is upheld
  • Complete shop payroll and staffing processes, including punch-in/out guidelines and flag-hour procedures
  • Manage staff PTO, vacation, or leave
  • Communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimators, and Parts Managers to manage daily production flow
  • Write DRP-compliant estimates after disassembly and damage discovery, update Collision Estimator estimates, and lock final estimates
  • Interview and hire candidates, and provide teammate coaching, feedback, and development support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of the collision industry, including insurance procedures and requirements for various carriers
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve successful results
  • Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software, including CCC ONE Total Repair Software
  • Proficient with computers and other technology
  • Valid driver’s license required
