About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process
Communicate vehicle repair status with others
Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status
Decide whether to repair or replace parts based on safety, cost, and cycle time
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicles and fenders
Participate in required safety meetings
File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools
Direct and explain tasks and procedures to an apprentice when needed
Work within Crash Champions' collision repair services and vehicle repair centers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to use a frame machine
Certification in body repair preferred
Knowledge of the vehicle repair process by manufacturer
I-CAR welding certification
Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
Ability to supervise repair personnel
Must be able to pass a thorough background check
