About the role

  • Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with senior accountants, managers, and other department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts
  • Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate accounting
  • Strong communicator, capable of working with peers and senior management
  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Independent, self-starter that works well in team environment
  • Capable of quickly adapting to change
  • Proficiency in MS Office products – intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties
  • Ability to work cross functionally and act as a liaison with all levels or organization and external business partnerships
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
