About the role
- Coach and develop Parts Managers to enhance their performance and compliance with Procurement policies
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors to ensure optimal pricing, availability, and service
- Facilitate effective communication and streamline procurement processes
- Assist Regional Parts Managers in the selection of preferred vendors
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data management in the Parts Procurement System(s)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy standard practices and procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the parts procurement and management process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in parts management, procurement, or a related field
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in procurement systems and data management tools
- Knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
