About the role
- Assist the operations team with litigation matters, including drafting responses to complaints.
- Communicate with local governments on land use and zoning matters.
- Draft, review, interpret, and summarize lease provisions.
- Support the real estate team in resolving landlord disputes.
- Collaborate with a team of four lawyers and a paralegal on various legal projects as needed.
Requirements
- Current JD candidate with at least one year of law school completed.
- Successfully completed coursework in real estate, contracts, and torts (business organizations coursework is a plus but not required).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset and attention to detail.
- A sense of humor and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in the automotive or insurance industry is a plus.
