About the role
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across planning, permitting, construction, and close-out stages.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting tools.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design and scope alignment.
- Lead weekly construction meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
- Review and approve contracts, change orders, and pay applications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control.
- Manage RFI (Request for Information) and submittal processes.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise in the field or with stakeholders.
- Provide accurate forecasting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with permitting processes, contracts, and local building codes.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
