Human Resources Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate all onboarding for new hires (i.e, set up in payroll system (UKG), send communications, prepare training schedules, coordinate travel, etc)
- Manage new hire documentation, background checks, and I-9s
- Facilitate offboarding, including documentation, system updates and equipment return
- Prepare training schedules and assign courses in LMS (Bridge LMS)
- Monitor compliance training and follow up as needed
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications (i.e., employee newsletter)
- Maintain employee records and support HR reporting
- Assist with other HR projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Friendly and professional personality
- Requires strong customer interaction skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely, professional, and positive manner.
- Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
- Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
- Is attentive to the needs of management and employees - responds quickly and competently to requests.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is a must
- Experience with HR systems a plus (UKG, Greenhouse, Bridge, etc)
