About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analysis and validation of shipping documents (House BL, Master BL, Invoices, among others);
  • Issuance and transmission of Shipping Instructions (SI) to the carrier, including amendments as required;
  • Coordination of pre-alerts to the destination, observing operational deadlines and local requirements;
  • Interface with agents and freight forwarders to align documentation and confirm shipments;
  • Ensure issuance and sending of original documents to the destination in accordance with the requirements of the importing country;
  • Monitoring rules and specific requirements by destination country;
  • Support to the commercial team regarding documentary feasibility and particularities of each operation;
  • Filing and control of documentation for audit purposes and to meet the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) requirements;
  • Active participation in alignment meetings with operational and commercial teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in International Trade, International Relations, or related areas;
  • Prior experience with LCL import documentation processes;
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs requirements;
  • Advanced English (reading and technical writing);
  • Experience with shipments to the USA, Latin America, and Asia is a plus;
  • Knowledge of consolidation and deconsolidation processes is desirable;
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with a sense of urgency;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to interpret scenarios, positive attitude, curiosity, willingness to learn, and proactivity.
