About the role

  • Provide customer service via email and phone;
  • Communicate with terminals and shipping lines via email and phone;
  • Manage and verify all shipment documentation (MBL and HBL);
  • Track shipments on carriers' websites;
  • Perform queries and corrections in the Mercante system;
  • Maintain daily contact with international agents;
  • Execute container re‑destination;
  • Monitor vessel berthing/docking daily.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Intermediate English;
  • Spanish is a plus;
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Experience working with freight agents and/or NVOCCs is desirable;
  • Knowledge of maritime import procedures;
  • Ability to interpret situations, positive attitude, curiosity, teamwork, willingness to learn, and a proactive, dynamic approach.
