About the role
- Provide customer service via email and phone;
- Communicate with terminals and shipping lines via email and phone;
- Manage and verify all shipment documentation (MBL and HBL);
- Track shipments on carriers' websites;
- Perform queries and corrections in the Mercante system;
- Maintain daily contact with international agents;
- Execute container re‑destination;
- Monitor vessel berthing/docking daily.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Intermediate English;
- Spanish is a plus;
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience working with freight agents and/or NVOCCs is desirable;
- Knowledge of maritime import procedures;
- Ability to interpret situations, positive attitude, curiosity, teamwork, willingness to learn, and a proactive, dynamic approach.
