About the role
- Coordinates and monitors the stages of maritime import shipments, from opening the SI (Shipping Instruction) to shipment confirmation and DRAFT approval;
- Keeps clients and agents informed about shipments;
- Updates quotations as value changes occur during the process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Fluent/advanced English for conversation;
- Spanish is a plus;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Preferably experience with freight forwarders and/or NVOCCs;
- Knowledge of maritime export routines;
- Ability to interpret scenarios, positive attitude, curiosity, willingness to learn, and dynamism;
- Experience with U.S. export processes is a plus;
- Familiarity coordinating FCL export shipments;
- Customer service / customer experience skills.
