About the role

  • Send shipping instructions to origin parties;
  • Coordinate and monitor all stages of ocean import shipments;
  • Responsible for keeping the client informed step by step: estimated ready date, collection estimate, collection confirmation, arrival of cargo at the warehouse, booking, departure confirmation;
  • Send an updated quote to the client if costs change during the process;
  • Review and verify the Bill of Lading (BL) draft based on instructions provided by clients and system records;
  • Approve the document and monitor the release location;
  • Monitor and inform the client in case of a Craft transshipment involving a container change, analyzing and sending a copy of the second-leg BL as well;
  • Provide support to clients and agents in coordination with other departments within the Craft group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Intermediate English (advanced level is a plus);
  • Knowledge of import procedures and routines;
  • Experience coordinating shipments with overseas agents;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and/or NVOCCs is desirable.
