About the role
- Identify and recruit candidates for various marine-related positions through networking, social media, and job boards.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for open positions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance.
- Stay updated on the marine industry trends and job market to effectively source candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, with a preference for marine or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of marine industry roles and skill sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
- High level of organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
