About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP frameworks including Laravel, CodeIgniter, and WordPress.
  • Lead AI integrations into web applications, including APIs from platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Bland, Retell, ElevenLabs, and similar services.
  • Implement and optimize voice based AI applications, ensuring smooth functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define architecture, data flow, and AI implementation strategies.
  • Customize and maintain CMS platforms including WordPress and Drupal as required by project scope.
  • Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and ensure best practices in authentication, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
  • Participate in technical discussions with client stakeholders, clearly explaining solutions and technical considerations in English.

Requirements

  • 4 plus years of professional PHP development experience
  • Strong hands on experience with Laravel
  • Experience with WordPress development, including custom themes or plugins
  • Working knowledge of CodeIgniter and Drupal
  • Proven experience integrating AI APIs, especially LLM based platforms
  • Experience building or integrating voice enabled applications
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third party integrations
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment with U.S based teams.
