About the role
- Independently lead all Scrum ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach the team on Agile principles, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
- Foster psychological safety and mediate conflicts constructively.
- Plan and track team capacity and utilization (~80% sustainable workload).
- Monitor availability and redistribute tasks to avoid overload.
- Identify and assess risks early and maintain an active risk register.
- Remove blockers within 24–48 hours, escalating effectively when required.
- Operate within the Agile triangle—fixed time and budget with flexible scope.
- Track velocity, sprint outcomes, story completion rates, and team health.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog refinement and prioritization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or similar
- 3–4 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
- Hands-on experience leading teams of 4–7 resources across full SDLC
- Strong expertise in Scrum facilitation, capacity planning, risk mitigation, and escalation
- Proficient in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
- Exceptional facilitation, communication, problem-solving, and servant leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes through data.
