About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently analyze, evaluate and align business requirements in the banking environment (with a focus on investment advisory)
  • Create functional specifications, requirements descriptions and user stories as the basis for technical implementation
  • Support the Product Owner with backlog maintenance, prioritization, refinement and release planning
  • Capture and document business processes and interfaces (requirements engineering) and derive functional and non-functional requirements
  • Create and execute business test cases, support test automation and ensure the functional quality of deliverables
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes and derive corresponding recommendations for action
  • Work closely and solution-oriented with business stakeholders, development teams and partners on an equal footing
  • Support the entire product lifecycle – from conception through testing and piloting to roll-out and operational maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed banking apprenticeship or degree with a focus on finance, business informatics or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in the banking sector (preferably in investment advisory)
  • Experience in requirements analysis, process management and agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of testing and quality assurance, ideally with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ADOIT or comparable tools
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and processes in the banking environment
  • Very good written and spoken German
