About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently analyze, evaluate and align business requirements in the banking environment (with a focus on investment advisory)
Create functional specifications, requirements descriptions and user stories as the basis for technical implementation
Support the Product Owner with backlog maintenance, prioritization, refinement and release planning
Capture and document business processes and interfaces (requirements engineering) and derive functional and non-functional requirements
Create and execute business test cases, support test automation and ensure the functional quality of deliverables
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes and derive corresponding recommendations for action
Work closely and solution-oriented with business stakeholders, development teams and partners on an equal footing
Support the entire product lifecycle – from conception through testing and piloting to roll-out and operational maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed banking apprenticeship or degree with a focus on finance, business informatics or equivalent qualification
Professional experience in the banking sector (preferably in investment advisory)
Experience in requirements analysis, process management and agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge of testing and quality assurance, ideally with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ADOIT or comparable tools
Understanding of regulatory requirements and processes in the banking environment
Very good written and spoken German
